VIVA - Vivekananda Institute of Values
VIVA was set up in 2023 with the sole purpose of making every individual recognize the immense potential they have within them by believing in themselves and by living a life of well-chosen values.
VIVA’s multi-disciplinary team has over a decade’s experience of working with educational authorities, educators, students and parents all over India.
Having been part of the policy formulation of the New Education Policy, 2020 in an advisory capacity, VIVA is fully equipped to facilitate holistic education in Institutes of Higher Learning.
Educational Initiatives
Awakened Citizen Program (ACP) : Our flagship value-education program ACP was launched in the year 2013. It is a 3-year graded program for middle schools children. This was designed and developed by our Knowledge partner Illumine Knowledge Resources Pvt Ltd. who have done pioneering work in cognitive sciences for three decades.
Foundation of Citizenship Program (FCP) : A One year value-education program for the middle schools acts as an upgrade to the ACP. This too was designed and developed by our Knowledge partner Illumine Knowledge Resources Pvt Ltd. who have done pioneering work in cognitive sciences for three decades.
Awakening : Responding to the demand from educationists to develop a value education program for primary school children - Standard 1 to 5.
Vivek Marg : A credit-based value-added course for University students, that delivers life-affirming ideas of Swami Vivekananda, by way of enabling Professors to empower students to discover a new identity.
Arise : A platform for Parents to encourage community bonding, peer learning as well as to help them enjoy their parenting journey together to bring out the best in their children.
Vivek Shakti : A platform for Teachers that strives to establish a nationwide community of facilitators of the ACP.
Vivek Deep : On similar lines to Vivek Shakti, another platform was conceived called Vivek Deep for engaging teachers who were trained for the Awakening Program.
Svarat : An interactive workshop designed for senior citizens to explore the deeper aspects of life.
