The program
Parents form an integral part of the child’s journey of education and development .The team of professionals at the Vivekananda Institute of Values, Gurugram have developed a framework named ARISE for the parents’ community. In recent years, parenting has emerged as a major challenge. Due to professional commitments and the rising culture of nuclear families, parents are struggling to keep pace with the demands from life. They often feel disconnected from their children. Parenting which should have been a fulfilling journey has been reduced to a stressful responsibility. Educators have also emphasized the role of parents in the child's journey to adulthood.
Purpose
On request from various educational institutions, we have launched a workshop for parents which not only enables parents to form a loving bond with children but also gives them a view that parenting is a way to awaken their own highest potential as a human being.
Approach
ARISE is a two and half hour highly interactive, discovery-based paid workshop for parents. . Parents are introduced to a simple framework using relatable examples, practices which help them build positive relationships with their children and enjoy the process too.
